Get the software discovery agent
The Costif Agent scans systems for installed software and reports back to the management server.
Go to Downloads
Navigate to Portal > Downloads
Select Agent Type
Click on the "Agent" tab (default)
Choose Platform
Select your operating system and architecture:
Download
Click the download button to get the agent binary or installer
MSI Installer
For Windows, check "Include MSI" to get a standard Windows installer package, ideal for deployment via SCCM or Intune.
Get the virtualization management agent
The VM Manager agent connects to VMware and Hyper-V to discover virtual machines and track licenses.
Click VM Manager Tab
Switch to the VM Manager tab on the Downloads page
Select Platform
VM Manager is available for:

Install on a server with network access to your vCenter or Hyper-V hosts
Network Requirements
VM Manager needs network access to vCenter (port 443) or Hyper-V (port 5985/5986).
Deploy on your systems
Run the MSI installer:
msiexec /i costif-agent.msi /quiet Or run the binary directly:
costif-agent.exe install Make executable and install:
chmod +x costif-agent
sudo ./costif-agent install Auto-start Service
The agent installs as a system service that starts automatically
